VISA & PERMITS

Q- IS A VISA REQUIRED TO ENTER LEBANON ?

A- Five Types of Visas are granted for entry to Lebanon

1- Transit Visa for 48 hours with no fee, up till 15 days with fee .

2- Residence (Sejourn) for 1, 2 or several trips .

3- Courtesy Visa for free for distinguished persons and VIPs .

4- Holism Visa for Delegations .

5- Work Visa for 3 months .

CUSTOMS

Q- WHAT CUSTOMS DUTIES ARE APPLIED IN LEBANON ?

A- The Customs Authority in Lebanon applies 3 types of Tariffs :

1- The “Normal” tariff is applied on goods originating from a country which is listed with the Lebanese Customs Superior Council

2- The “Maximum” tariff is applied to all goods that do not benefit of the “Normal” tariff.

3- The “Agreed Tariff” is applied on goods originating from countries which have concluded special agreements with Lebanon.
